Art In… Villa Infinitum

Situated on the westernmost tip of the island, Port d’Andratx is a picturesque harbour town. A natural harbour, Port d’Andratx can accommodate yachts up to 30m. The main street wraps itself around the marina, bustling at night with its selection of restaurants and shops. The craggy hills overlooking the harbour are dotted with stunning properties.

One such property is Villa Infinitum, a private residence that offers 500m2 of privacy. Accommodating guests is effortless and unobtrusive with five double king-sized bedrooms located across three floors, each with an ensuite bathroom. Guests will be wowed by the floor to ceiling windows in each room, offering views of the tranquil harbour and sea.

The interiors are contemporary with neutral tones and a minimalist aesthetic, while retaining a homely and cosy atmosphere. The heart of the villa is the dining room with adjacent kitchen, an extensively stocked bodega, games room and an expansive fireplace. Music lovers can expect to be met with their favourite album, playing on vinyl as they enter the Villa Infinitum. Art is present throughout the villa; a sculpture by David Harber stands in the courtyard and the games room has work by Eddie Lawrence, whilst the spa is adorned by Kyra interiors sculptures.

Three terraces (two with a pool) are located over three different floors. The largest terrace is connected to the living room and also has the largest pool, complete with blue tiles that glimmer in the Mallorcan sun. The top terrace is ideal for watching the sunset with a cocktail; complete with a kitchen and BBQ, it offers the best view in the house: an undisrupted 180 degree vista of the marina, the Mediterranean and the Tramuntana mountains.

The villa can accommodate up to ten guests, with a convenient self-contained apartment on the first floor which can be used by staff, complete with its own kitchen and entrance. The ground floor gym is modern and well equipped, including an indoor pool with jetstream, sauna and spa treatment area.

Those seeking complete privacy and a sense of escape won’t want to leave the villa. Nick Bampton, Villa Infinitum’s owner, aims to give a ‘Votel’ type experience: offering the privacy and luxury of a private home but with the excellent services of a 5-star hotel. Everything is planned in advance, ahead of the guests’s arrival, so that they can instantly relax, settle into the villa and enjoy their trip knowing everything has been taken care of. The residence is run by two service-oriented villa managers who take care of all guests needs. Guests can book bespoke in-house services such as private catering from Michelin starred Marc Fosh trained chefs, Mallorcan wine tasting with local wine experts Divino wine and relaxing spa treatments from Ruuby Black label.
